The Hepburn Palais is worth the trip

What a great night at the newly opened Hepburn Palais last night! The old venue has been shuttered for around seven years, and it's taken a couple of guys with a vision for great food, fun, and to turn the venue into a community hub to pull it back together and relaunch the venue.

Treetop Foods were lucky enough to be invited along as one of the food suppliers at the opening event, along with Naked Espresso, Sutton Grange Wines and Oakwood Smallgoods. And the crowd was into food, with people engaged in food marketing, creating new and exciting ventures (such as quandong-flavoured beer, or gin distillers from Kyneton), or simply food lovers.

And an Indigenous Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony were front and centre in the night's events, not just an add-on. It's always heartening to see leadership coming from people when it's so sorely lacking from our politicians.

So Treetop's dairy-free Nutcheeses are now available at the Palais in Hepburn Springs, one of the best venues, could you say in the state?

With its stylish makeover, a great lineup of acts, and some top food in its pantry, you could!
