If you love cheese or are lactose intolerant, vegetarian or just like new food experiences, these plant-based cheese might be for you. They are hand-made in the North Island of New Zealand with the best organic products where possible.
Our soft cheese is made with macadamias, almonds and cashews, has the melt-in-the-mouth feel and flavour of a good marinated soft cheese. Our feta has the sharp, citrus/salt tang and texture of a dairy feta, our parmesan is a flavour sensation! And more are coming.
We are in a redevelopment phase, having moved countries just before Covid-19 hit. We are developing new cheeses, exploring novel ingredients (horopito, locally grown macadamias, East Coast honey, South Island sea salt) and consolidating before we relaunch in 2020-21.
Our full range of plant-based cheeses are plant-based, although our fruit cheeses are sweetened with a dash of organic honey from New Zealand's East Cape.
Try them on a cheese plate, in your favourite recipes, as a toasted nutcheese sanger, mixed into pasta sauce, with wine, with beer, on crackers, anytime!
